Sporting Stars!

This half term at Biddick Academy, we have seen some amazing teamwork across our football and netball teams!

Under 14 Girls' Football

Our under 14s girls' football team made a promising start to the season in a close, end-to-end match at Consett Academy. All players played a vital role in the team and it was amazing to see the more experienced players help out the players who were playing their first game.

Year 7 Netball

We're proud of our Year 7 netball squad! After two nights of competitive fixtures, all of their amazing effort and non-stop, hard work led to their very first win on Monday night!

A massive well done to every single player involved, especially those who were making their match debuts! Your progress is fantastic, and we can't wait to see you back on the court for the next match!

Year 9 Netball

Our Year 9 netball team put on a fantastic display of resilience in their match against St Anthony's this week!

Facing a tough opponent, they never gave up, fighting for every ball and making brilliant adjustments as the game went on. Amazing effort, girls!
