We're celebrating our best ever GCSE results!
This morning our school was full of smiling faces as we celebrated record-breaking attainment and many outstanding individual success stories. This is a truly exceptional year for our school community.
The Class of 2026 achieved the highest Attainment 8 score in the school's history, reaching an impressive 48.2. This superb achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, the support of their families, and our shared commitment to excellence.
There was strong achievement across the board, with 72% of students achieving a Grade 4 or above in both English and maths, while 25% of grades awarded for English and maths were Grade 7 or above. Alongside these impressive school outcomes, there were many individual success stories to celebrate, including:
Leoni, who achieved an outstanding eight Grade 9s, placing her among the highest performing students in the country.
Tyler and Jamie, who both secured five Grade 9s and three Grade 8s, demonstrating exceptional achievement and consistency across a broad range of subjects.
