This morning, students, parents/carers, and staff gathered to receive their well-deserved GCSE results at Biddick Academy. The cohort have now unlocked their next steps in life, including further study, apprenticeships, employment and training.
As always, there were many outstanding individual performances we would like to mention, including:
- Emily H with 6 grade 9s, 1 grade 8 and 1 grade 7 who will now study Physics, Maths and Chemistry at A level.
- Ebony F who achieved 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s who is looking forward to studying A levels at sixth form, including Maths and Psychology.
- Josh D who scored 5 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and 1 grade 7 who will now study Computer Science and Maths at A level.
- Jake B who earned 4 grade 9s, 4 grade 8s and 1 Distinction* and is excited about studying Modern Foreign Languages and Geography
- Molly W who achieved 1 grade 9, 2 Distinction*'s, 4 grade 8s and 2 grade 7s and will now further her studies post-16.
Speaking of the success, our Headteacher, Miss Morris, said:
